I've never liked the smarmy lute-strumming bastard (even before he began massacring Dowland). He was only ever bearable with The Police. At least they had a beat.

Actually, I do remember Sting's Live Album getting me through long study hours for my Abitur back in the dark ages...
But that really does suck.

Yeah, his Dowland was really awful, his voice untuneful and totally wrong for it. He also does a bad version of that lovely Basque carol Gabriel's Message.
He should stick to An Englishman in New York.
