How language evolves

And here's me thinking that Britain's obsession with WWII might have made the good people of Albion particularly erudite when it comes to their favourite historical period. However, it seems that the daily dose of marching Nazis on UKTV History has merely confused them, resulting in rampant phantasmagoria and wild surmise.

The sceptred isle hath no dimwit like a blonde Scot in a beanie!
