One of my favourites was when the Elizabeth Taylor/Richard Burton film "Cleopatra" first came out.<br /><br />I freely admit that the following will probably make no sense whatsoever to most people, but to those of us who grew up in the UK during the latter part of the 20th Century, and who know who Gracie Fields was, then the Guardian's Headline for the review of the film was a stunner:<br /><br />"The Biggest Asp-Disaster In The World".<br /><br />Perhaps you had to have been there, but I still find it brilliant...Geoff Coupehttp://gcoupe.spaces.live.comnoreply@blogger.com
